Curriculum Vitae

I photograph to look. To see things I'd normally walk past, but with an open mind and my camera in hand I can discover more. I look for beauty, for authenticity, for light, for grit, for intersections of people and things that are surprising. Though I love travel photography for all I can learn about people and culture, it's exciting to capture the everyday: the intricacies of shadows cascading down a set of green stairs or the pattern of a tree creating beauty on the side of a house, or seeing the pattern of water towers out your window in NYC.
