Matthew Frederick (born 1963). Is native to Northern California and has resided in San Francisco for 22 years. He studied at Chico State University and received his BA from Sacramento State University. He was a past partner of two commercial galleries and a founding partner in ARC Gallery and Consulting Group. He continues to be an art consultant with his vast knowledge of Bay Area Artists. He has Curated many shows in his 25 year career along with judging many local and national juried and prize shows. It is an honor to be chosen as a juror for the Sheridan Prize for Art.

Matthew has 25 years experience as a professional Artist and Curator in the Bay Area. His paintings are sold nationally and are in many prominent collections. Most recently the Richmond Art Museum Ohio, acquired twenty paintings that spanned a retrospective of 15 years of his career. Last year Google purchased three large paintings for the lobby of their newly built headquarters in Pal Alto. The Four Seasons Malibu purchased three paintings for their newly renovated lobby. He continues to have solo and group shows in the Bay Area and nationally with paintings placed across the US and EU.

Matthew has been featured in Architectural Digest, Marin Magazine and Southwestern Art among others.
