Curriculum Vitae

I am Hasseem Abdallah. Self taught artist specializing in reclaimed wood and other mediums.

I reside in San Francisco where I am an artist at the Hunter’s Point Shipyard. I am the past artist in residence at HPSY (2020-2022).

I am also an educator working with special needs students within the San Francisco Unified School District (15 years)

Originally from Long Beach CA (born and raised). Arrived in San Francisco in 1989 as a student- athlete at SFSU.

Art and education are most definitely my way of life.

Excited to be a juror for The John Sheridan Prize for Art.
