Personal
Started work in the Gazette Pressroom at 14, drawing editorial cartoons and editing an art section until the newspaper was closed in 1984. Took over the dilapidated Hotel Milwaukee in Richmond Ca. in January of 1985, remodeled it with crew and rented studios and gallery until March of 2000. Became a widowed single parent in 1991 and raised my daughter full time until June of 2005. Working with at-risk and Neurodivergent students one-on-one from 2001-Present.
